Meaning Making sessions

We had a great turn out at the meaning making session on Saturday 03 September where we reflected back the key themes from the community engagement process and had conversations about the considerations around the future of Puhinui Warkworth to form a brief for the urban designers.

We were joined by Mary Drake a graphic recorder who came along to the session to do visualize our conversations. Here are some of the themes captured through the community engagement process.

Check out the video below of Community Think in conversation with Architecture and Planning lecturer Bill McKay, and Tracy Ogden-Cork from Motu Design. We talked about some considerations to brief the urban designers – climate change, increased population, new highway by-pass, box development, young people in the community and some of the ways urban design can help to address these

If you have ideas around considerations you think we should be thinking about and some urban design ideas to address these, fill in this box.
